Milestones for Indonesian Car Terminal

Indonesia’s leading car terminal operator PT Indonesia Kendaraan Terminal (IPCC) has reported its highest-ever profit, marking a significant milestone in the company’s history. The Pelindo subsidiary posted a net profit of IDR 212.22 billion in 2024, reflecting an 11.19% year-on-year increase from 2023.

Tanjung Priok terminal remains the dominant contributor to the result, while satellite terminals – located in Belawan, Pontianak, Balikpapan, Makassar, and Banjarmasin – added to the revenue.

Cost-efficiency measures have been central to this success including their integrated digital payment system PRAYA, which allows service users to view their bills in real time, reducing the need for face-to-face interactions and ultimately shortening the company’s average collection period.

Looking ahead to 2025, IPCC plans to continue its business strategy by refining its master plan for the multi-terminal (vehicle logistics ecosystem) sector. One of the key initiatives already underway is the Go-Live PTOS-C application at the international terminal, which aims to integrate services and adopt cutting-edge technology to improve operations.

IPCC Wins Recognition from Toyota
IPCC has achieved another remarkable milestone by winning First Place at the Vendor Jishuken Convention, an annual event organized by PT Toyota Motor Manufacturing Indonesia.

The award was presented in the “Best Suggestion System of Logistics Vendor – TLC (Toyota Logistic Community)” category. The event took place this year at the Sunlake Hotel in Sunter. A standout talent from IPCC’s Jakarta Branch earned this prestigious recognition by impressing the jury with a brilliant suggestion.

The award-winning idea was based on the “SAIL Strong” program, which focuses on strengthening attitude, improving skills, and improving knowledge for driver operators. The program began with IPCC’s self-learning process, aimed at driving innovation and transformation within the company.
