# PT Jalak Kargo Logistik

Freight forwarder and cargo logistics company based in Bali, Indonesia, serving
international and domestic shipments. Founded in 2019 in Bali by Gusti Kadek
Lindawati. Four branches: Bali (head office), Jakarta, Yogyakarta and Semarang.

Named after the Jalak Bali, the endangered bird native to the island. The company
contributes to local NGOs working on its habitat.

## What we do

- **Ocean freight (FCL)**: full container shipments, export and import.
- **LCL consolidation**: shared container space for shipments under roughly 15 CBM.
- **Air freight**: time critical cargo, airport to airport or door to door.
- **Customs brokerage**: export and import clearance in Indonesia.
- **Warehousing**: storage and fulfilment, including staged delivery for hotel and
  restaurant openings.
- **Domestic freight**: inter island shipping across Indonesia.
- **Express courier**: documents and small parcels.
- **Project cargo**: oversized and heavy equipment, including permits and escort.
- **Bulk liquids transport**: tank container and flexitank.
- **Removals and relocation**: personal effects, door to door.

## Who we usually work with

Furniture and handicraft exporters in Bali, hotels and restaurants importing
fit out equipment, e-commerce sellers needing storage and dispatch, contractors
moving heavy equipment, and individuals relocating abroad.

## Locations

- **Bali (head office)**: Jl. Sunset Road No.105, Seminyak, Kec. Kuta,
  Kabupaten Badung, Bali 80361. All services.
- **Jakarta**: ocean and air freight, customs clearance, warehousing.
- **Yogyakarta**: domestic freight, handicraft export, consolidation.
- **Semarang**: ocean freight and port handling for Central Java.

## Pricing

Quoted per shipment, not from a fixed price list. The three things that decide
the number are the volume of the finished packaging in cubic meters, the weight,
and the Incoterm. LCL is billed per cubic meter or per ton, whichever is higher.
FCL is a flat rate per container. Quotes are free and returned within 24 hours
on working days.

## Hours

Monday to Friday 09:00 to 17:30, Saturday 09:00 to 13:30, Bali time (WITA).
Closed Sunday.
